Niki Hare (born 1971) is a British visual artist based in Gloucestershire, working across painting, collage, print, and video. Largely self-taught, she returned to art after a long career in equestrianism and has since exhibited internationally,including in the UK, Europe, and the United States.Her work explores ideas around perception, existence, and the shifting nature of reality. Through layered compositions that combine text, imagery, and abstraction, Hare breaks down and reassembles visual elements to create a distinctive, expressive style. Her pieces often feel like psychological portraits, blending observation with emotion to examine identity and the space between what is visible and what is felt.
