Founded by David Calligeros in 1996, Remains has grown from an off-the-beaten-path antique resource to a world-class maker of high-end artisanal lighting. Inspired by the beauty of classical architecture and driven by a passion for antique metalwork, David honed his craft by hunting down, researching, and meticulously restoring vintage pieces. The impeccable quality of our company's made-to-order and custom lighting fixtures springs from this deep experience in traditional workmanship. Every fixture is conceived of and handcrafted by lighting designers, engineers, and artisans in our 25,000 square-foot, LEED Gold-certified Brooklyn factory, from a mindset of both preservation and innovation.
