Chechén Wood Design

Jalisco, Mexico

Chechén Wood Design is a Mexican wooden homewares brand available through Powered by People. Founded by siblings María and Santiago, the brand takes its name from the long-lived Chechén tree and celebrates the enduring character of natural wood.

Working with master carpenters in Guadalajara, the studio combines Mexican artisan techniques with contemporary forms to create bowls, platters, serving utensils, and decorative accessories. Wood offcuts become useful objects, allowing grain, tone, and natural variation to give each piece its individual identity.
